By default, fraud detection will run across all jobs when enabled within the Security section of Admin. If you’d like to only enable fraud detection for specific jobs, or turn off fraud detection for certain jobs if you have it set as enabled by default, this is also possible.

Fraud detection on candidate profile

A candidate’s application will be reviewed after submission. Once the application has been received, it will be analyzed and flagged based on the results.

If a candidate has been flagged, a Fraud Signals Detected button will appear at the top of the candidate’s profile. Click this to view the signal categories and a breakdown of the analysis in the Fraud Signals History popover. This will contain all checks performed for this candidate (including any checks run for previous applications).

If you have the AI Candidate Fraud Signal Summary option enabled within Admin > Organization Setup > Opt-in Features, the AI Summary will appear above the full list of results.

Please note that AI Summaries are generated at the time of submission if this setting is enabled. AI Summaries will not be added to existing applications, only to new ones moving forward.

As you review each signal, you can hover over the signal title to get more information on what is being evaluated. Any flagged signals will be listed above the signals checked so you can easily see what needs reviewing.

Once you’ve reviewed the data provided, you can choose from the following options:

Mark Fraud: Flag this as a fraudulent application. This will then trigger the process to archive the candidate with the Rejected by Organization: Fraudulent Candidate archive reason applied.

Not Fraud: Mark the flagging as a false positive and confirm the application is not fraudulent. The candidate will have a Fraud Signals - Cleared label added to their profile.

Unsure: Mark the application as Uncertain - Flagged for Monitoring so it can be re-reviewed later.

If you need to update the fraud signals status on a candidate’s profile, you can click on the Fraud Signals label applied to the candidate’s profile to reopen the Fraud Signals History popover, then select the correct status.
