Application Limits Overview

Candidates may apply to the same job multiple times after being rejected or apply excessively to multiple open roles before a decision is made, resulting in lost time for recruiters who must review superfluous applications. Application Limits will allow your team to configure rules that will automatically block excessive applications. You can also opt to include a message to candidates on the application page to inform them of these limits before they apply again.

What types of rules are currently supported?

Configure Application Blocking Rules

Create a new rule

Navigate to Application Limits to build a rule. Click + New Application Limit Configuration in the top right corner to start creating a new rule.

Configure a new rule

You have the following options for configuring a rule:

• Description
• Scope (filtering to establish the jobs that this configuration will apply to)
• Blocking Rules
  • Throttling Applications
  • Repeat applications for the same job after a rejection
  • Repeat applications for any job after a rejection
• Display Message to Candidate (what the candidate will see if they apply and their application is blocked.)
• Application form callout (displaying a message at the top of the application form explaining the application limit to the candidate).
