Linking an application form question to a candidate field

Head into your shared Application Forms under Admin>Jobs & Applications and select the form you’d like to amend. Scroll to the question you’d like to connect to a candidate field and click the link icon.

From there, you will be prompted to either select an existing field to connect to this question, or create a new custom field. You can use the search bar to find the exact field you’re looking for if you already have a lot of custom fields in place.

To select an existing field, click on it within the Choose an existing field to connect: list. Click into and amend the Title and Description fields and then click Create and Connect Custom Field to create a new field for your question to be linked to.

Once you’ve selected or created your field, the connected path will be confirmed. You will have the option to disconnect the link or switch the field the application question field is mapped to.
