Tags Overview

Tags can enhance the discoverability of candidate profiles, create more flexibility in reporting, and more. Ashby currently supports candidate and interviewer tags.

Candidate Tags

To use the tags features, you can:

  1. Add tags by opening the dropdown menu and searching for your desired tag
  2. Add new tags inline by typing the name of the new tag and selecting Create new tag

Settings

Organization Admins can create new tags while assigning them. This option can be disabled if teams don’t want tags added ad-hoc. To manage this setting, visit the Candidate Tags page in Admin and check/uncheck Enable inline tag creation

Candidate tags are sorted in ascending alphabetical order in the Candidate Tags admin section.

You can search for a specific Candidate tag using the Search bar.

Using Candidate Tags

Tags can be used on candidate searches, candidate pipelines, reports, and to trigger alerts.

Candidate Search

Use candidate tags on search by clicking Add Field to Match, then searching for Tags. Once selected, choose the tag(s), and the candidate list will be filtered to display all candidates with that tag applied to their profile.
