Instant Direct Booking

Use Instant Direct Booking to generate direct booking links from a candidate's profile. When you create an instant direct booking link, it will pull interview settings from any Scheduling Defaults you have set up.

Set up an instant booking link

These steps outline the process for setting up a one-off direct booking link:

  1. Click + New Interview on the candidate’s profile
  2. Click Create Direct Booking Link.
  3. Input the schedule details:
    1. Interview
    2. Duration
    3. Location (if you are using a video conferencing software like Google Meet or Zoom, you can set your chosen integration as your location to generate a meeting link)
    4. Interviewer(s)
    5. Organizers
  4. Click Create Booking Link
  5. Once the link is generated you can:
    1. Copy the link to be used in a one-off email, or
    2. Select an existing email template that uses the Direct Booking Link token. If you choose this option, you’ll be prompted to send the message, which will open the email editor for further customization. For more on setting up email templates, check out Emails

Direct booking landing page

When your candidate clicks on the link, they'll be taken to a landing page that uses the same brand elements you configured on the Theme page in Admin - the avatar of the meeting organizer or the interviewer will be displayed. Once they select a time, both the candidate and interviewers will receive calendar invites.

If you’ve selected Phone Call as the location for your interview, then the candidate will also be prompted to enter their phone number.
