Section Overview:

1. API Key Setup

Generate an API Key

As a first step, create a Lever API key with read permissions enabled for all endpoints. The Lever documentation explains this, but in short:

1. Generate a new key

2. Select "Select all read" permissions to grant read-only rights to all data under the Permissions header.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "DONE" (this is required to finalize the API key generation)

<aside> 💡 If you require confidential data (like confidential jobs) to be synced over from Lever, ensure that the API key is created with permissions to access confidential data. Please also let your CSM or the Startup Success team know that this data needs to be synced before the migration is started.

Add API Key to Ashby

• Go to https://app.ashbyhq.com and sign in with Google - you should be able to sign in with your G Suite account
• Add the API key to your Ashby Lever settings

Let your Customer Success Manager or Startup Customer Success Team know when this is done and we'll import your data!

2. Post Migration Tasks

Map your Lever Sources

First, you’ll need to map any sources you’d like migrated to Ashby. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Add any sources you’d like to migrate here in Admin (review this guide)
2. Map your sources from Lever to Ashby here in Admin: https://app.ashbyhq.com/admin/data-mapping/lever-source-mapping
3. Hit the "Apply to applications…" button on the top right corner to apply them
